Well, now my second favorite is Home Alone the original one. The second Home Alone (the one in New York) was okay too. I didn't care too much for the other ones after that.

lfhpueblo said...

I like A Christmas Story too. I like how the boy wanted a BB gun. I doubt the actor who played the boy even owns a gun in real life. He had a program on TV awhile back called I think
Living with Ed, or Living Green with Ed. That guy reuses everything, or everything he buys to put in his home is recycled. I liked the show because I kinda felt sorry for his wife. I mean she wanted to conserve natural resources too, but I think at times she thought, but never really said, "Hey, he's just too over the top with all this, and doesn't give me time enough to adjust." The quote is just something I made up, she didn't say it. I just think her eyes conveyed such at times.

Then there are always the animated movies. Who can resist Frosty the Snowman, or Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. Yet, male Reindeer lose their antlers in the winter, so maybe Rudolph was really Rudolphia, and just let her friends call her by the nickname Rudolph.

Definitely Christmas Story.

lfhpueblo said...

Christmas Carol is great too. It makes us remember that Christmas is not always about getting, but also about giving. Casio is giving, so they should feel good about that. Yet,I and I'm sure most if not all of you here also give them your thanks for providing such a fine giveaway gift.

LindsayC said...

Another one I really like is How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

turboterp said...

Okay, the one movie I have to watch *every* Christmas is A CHRISTMAS STORY.

This is a very nice looking watch. I have always been a big Casio watch person.

lfhpueblo said...

The Walton's had a 2 hour Christmas movie. Actually the pilot for the Walton's was a Christmas movie. It had Patricia Neal, or was it O'Neal playing the mother instead of Michael Learned. She didn't take the role of the mother in the series because she had a stroke.
In the original pilot movie before the series all of the children had very distinguishable red hair. I really liked that movie too, because even though they didn't have much money, they all pulled together as a family and had a fine Christmas.

NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION is kind of silly, but I love the scene where the squirrel jumps out of the tree!
