I never really liked it growing up. While in college I saw it in a theater (restored 50's era theater, which added ambiance) and was amazed. Now I really like it and look forward to seeing it this time of year.

I told you my favorite, now I'll tell you my husband's favorite: It's a Wonderful Life.
With as many time I have watched it, It's a Wonderful Life, it always brings something new to my life. An understanding. I hope that a bell rings and one more angel gets it's wings.
The classic claymation movies (Rudolph, Frosty, and Here Comes Santa Claus) are my favorite. I also really like the Charlie Brown Christmas Special.
msurosey@yahoo.com
This watch would look great on my husband's wrist, but if I can't win it for him, I know someone else here will win it for someone special in their life.
Well, now my second favorite is Home Alone the original one. The second Home Alone (the one in New York) was okay too. I didn't care too much for the other ones after that.
Realizing that your life makes a difference even if you do not is one of the messages in It's a Wonderful Life.
Miracle on 34th Street is my all time favorite Christmas movie!...then A Christmas Carol!
Believing in angels even old silly angels makes me laugh when I watch It's a Wonderful life.
I like A Christmas Story too. I like how the boy wanted a BB gun. I doubt the actor who played the boy even owns a gun in real life. He had a program on TV awhile back called I think
Living with Ed, or Living Green with Ed. That guy reuses everything, or everything he buys to put in his home is recycled. I liked the show because I kinda felt sorry for his wife. I mean she wanted to conserve natural resources too, but I think at times she thought, but never really said, "Hey, he's just too over the top with all this, and doesn't give me time enough to adjust." The quote is just something I made up, she didn't say it. I just think her eyes conveyed such at times.
Ir's A Wonderful Life is my favorite Christmas movie. garrettsambo@aol.com
It's A Wonderful Life
alterna7 at hotmail dot com
My favorite Christmas movie is 'It's A Wonderful Life'!

I still like the old movies the best like White Christmas or was it originally called Christmas in Connecticut? It's the one with Bing Crosby in it.
I like Miracle on 34th Street!
honeybeez80@yahoo.com
My favorite Christmas movie is It's a Wonderful Life! :)
Of course there is always Miracle on 34th Street. It's a classic and I like it best in it's original format with Maureen O'Hara, the remake was good too.
lfhpueblo (at) msn (dot) com
I love the Alastair Sim version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
I would have to say "It's a Wonderful Life" is my favorite.
efricke01 at yahoo dot com
I also love the origianl CHRISTMAS IN CONNECTICUT!
Miracle on 34th street is really great
heatherstamper09@aol.com
Has anyone seen A HOLIDAY AFFAIR with Janet Leigh and Robert Mitchum? I love those old black and white movies!
Then there are always the animated movies. Who can resist Frosty the Snowman, or Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. Yet, male Reindeer lose their antlers in the winter, so maybe Rudolph was really Rudolphia, and just let her friends call her by the nickname Rudolph.
lfhpueblo (at) msn (dot)com
Definitely Christmas Story.
Christmas Carol is great too. It makes us remember that Christmas is not always about getting, but also about giving. Casio is giving, so they should feel good about that. Yet,I and I'm sure most if not all of you here also give them your thanks for providing such a fine giveaway gift.
Another one I really like is How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Okay, the one movie I have to watch *every* Christmas is A CHRISTMAS STORY.
This is a very nice looking watch. I have always been a big Casio watch person.
The Walton's had a 2 hour Christmas movie. Actually the pilot for the Walton's was a Christmas movie. It had Patricia Neal, or was it O'Neal playing the mother instead of Michael Learned. She didn't take the role of the mother in the series because she had a stroke.
In the original pilot movie before the series all of the children had very distinguishable red hair. I really liked that movie too, because even though they didn't have much money, they all pulled together as a family and had a fine Christmas.
NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION is kind of silly, but I love the scene where the squirrel jumps out of the tree!
'A Christmas Story' remains a favorite of mine.
HOME ALONE is a great Christmas movie, too.
Time to say again
It's a Wonderful Life
+1 IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE!!! How could I forget that one?
LOL, Why yes it is. I still almost cry when the petals are found and then the bell rings. ya for a good classic.
It's a Wonderful Life
Now for you horror movie fans, the original BLACK CHRISTMAS from the late 70s is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen!
Miracle on 34th Street
My favorite Christmas movie is "A Christmas Story". Enter me please. Thanks.
brandon_ralston@hotmail.com
On the other hand, the recent remake of BLACK CHRISTMAS is awful...
Christmas Story is my fav :)
ktgonyea at gmail.com
Only a couple of hours left!
Who wants a watch?
I also have something to confess....
I have never seen "A Christmas Story".
:Gulp:
Linda,
You have to wait your turn before you post - no double posting - ooops.
The best is
It's a Wonderful Life.
Oooooh....Am I in trouble??
Hmm...I think I can get out of it fairly easy though. Ya know, since it's my blog an all.
LOL!
I like the movie Prancer
Linda, I actually envy you-- you get to experience this great movie for the first time! I don't know anyone who doesn't love it!
I like Home for the Holidays.
I like Frosty the Snowman too.
I like "its a wonderful life", but "love actually" is a good modern one.
I also like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
ELF is adorable-- I saw it for the first time this year!
Something a little different from the classics:
Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" LOVE it!!!
Thanks for the chance at this great watch... and the reminders of movies I've forgotten about.
Jes
Oh, I love THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, too! It's my Halloween/Christmas combo movie :)
i love home for the holidays :)
WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING is another holiday favorite of mine.
"NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION is kind of silly, but I love the scene where the squirrel jumps out of the tree!"
I am so with you on this one... HILARIOUS:) Isn't there an incident with the cat chewing on the Christmas lights too?? LOL!
Hee! That's right, the poor cat!
My favorite Christmas movie is "A Christmas Story". jelly15301@gmail.com
Another favorite is SCROOGED. I loved Bill Murray's modern take on A Christmas Carol, and the ending was so heartwarming!
I love Elf. Never get tired of it

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS was filmed not far from where I live, so I always enjoy watching it.
I love "A Wonderful Life". Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
HOLIDAY INN is a classic I loved when I was a little girl.
It's a Wonderful Life is a winner in this house.
LOVE, ACTUALLY is another great Christmas-themed movie.
My family loves to watch "Charlie Brown Christmas". The ending where they're all singing with little "O" mouths is so cute! Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
Back to A CHRISTMAS STORY, I love the way the father swears like a sailor. It makes me laugh every time!
The Nightmare Before Christmas and Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas are favorites around our house. My fiance sure would love this watch!
I've always been impressed with all the period details and costumes in A CHRISTMAS STORY, too. I know it was a low-budget movie, but they took such care to get everything right.
Another Bing Crosby Christmas movie I love is "Going My Way". The end where the priest's old mother comes walking into the church makes me SOB!!! every time. Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
A great looking watch anyone would be happpy to have one
Time to say again
It's a Wonderful Life.
When I'm in a silly mood I like to watch the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
lfhpueblo (at) msn (dot) com
Every time anyone in my house opens a package that's marked FRAGILE, someone is sure to say, "FRA-GEEEEL-LAY" in homage to A CHRISTMAS STORY's clueless dad!
You'll shot your eye out.
Poor kid he didn't even have a chance with Santa in the Christmas Story.
And don't you just love that leg lamp in A CHRISTMAS STORY?
Growing up I used to LOVE the Mr. Magoo Christmas Carol. I haven't seen that in years! Maybe even decades! Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
I do. His Dad, such a naughty fellow probably should have got coal in his stocking that year from putting that lamp by the window where all the neighbors could see it. Poor wife.
As my last comment, I'd just like to say thanks, Linda, for sponsoring these generous and FUN giveaways. I loved thinking about my fave holiday films this morning!
Again my husband just said to me, the best one is a Wonderful Life, and again I say White Christmas. He doesn't know I was entering for the watch though. He just thinks I'm chatting across the room.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a big thank you for making this really fun.
Thanks Linda. Thanks Casio.
My favorite Christmas movie is How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
I hope I win!
*fingers crossed*
Almost last time:
